When was the last time you looked in the mirror and really saw yourself. I mean the inner you. When was the last time you spoke to your inner child and told them how much they are loved. Did you really mean it? It is easier said than done. We all have those recordings that we hear over and over again from our past. You are fat, you are ugly, you will never amount to anything, you are dumb etc Just slot in the one that applies to you. How do you tackle this voice that you do not want to hear. Firstly, you can make a new recording. Tell yourself the truth everyday. You are loved. Your inner child will eventually believe you if they hear it often enough. Secondly, you can learn to be that child again and connect. Really connect. You may have to learn to play again and really enjoy life for what it is. Children laugh and play all the time. They do not need encouragement to just be themselves and enjoy life. Make that time, you are worth it. We all are.
